Casella CEL Ltd is a renowned leader in the development, manufacture and supply of instrumentation including environmental monitoring equipment.
ADAQ along with of Particle Instruments & Diagnostics of STRI worked with Casella CEL Ltd to develop a novel Particle Monitoring System - 'Ambicount' during the period 2000-2003. The instrument is developed amalgamating the sound principles of atmospheric science, physics, and electronics.
- E.on/RWE – regional scale air quality modelling as part of the CREMO project
- Real-time measurement of particle number and mass size distributions from 10 nm to 10 mm
- Measurement of gravimetric particle mass concentration in terms of PM10 or PM2.5
- Facility to connect meteorological sensors to measure wind speed, wind direction, relative humidity, air temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation
- Data logger to store the measured data
